Big Nestucca (At this time it's unclear exactly what area of South County this news column addressed, however it is believed that Hawkeye is reporting from the Woods area.)
05/30/1890 A.D. (Axom D.) Farmer had a homestead at what is now called Farmer Creek where it intersects with the Nestucca River. It was most recently been the Brassfield farm.
